Group Functions & Events


The Welcome Hotel offers full service catering for events including social, corporate & business functions, Christmas parties, wine dinners, beer degustation and more.  Our venue offers indoor & outdoor dining areas providing an ideal space for your special occasion.

Our function coordinator will work with you to organize the perfect event and on the day of your function, our professional and enthusiastic team will be there to meet all your need and ensure an exceptionally delivered event.

The menus created by Head Chef Jamie Ayling are inspired in modern Australian flavours using seasonal local produce, and they are designed to be shared.

Function Menus

The selection of the menu for your function must be done 7 days prior to the date of the event. This includes the type of menu, the food options and the selection of wines. 

Dietary requirements

We may cater for dietary requirements provided we are notified 7 days in advance with the specific details.

Price Guide

Coffee and Tea

Coffees and teas are not included in the menus. Espresso, flat white and English Breakfast tea are available upon request at $4 per person.

Canapé functions (minimum spend):

Full Restaurant and Courtyard (exclusive use):

  • Wednesday to Thursday $2500
  • Friday to Sunday*      $4000

* Our restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings and all day Monday and Tuesday

  • Sit down lunch/dinner: up to 45 guests

Full Restaurant and Courtyard (exclusive use)

  • Standing up  canapés: up to 120 guests

 Confirmation and deposit

A written confirmation and a deposit are required for us to secure a date and time for your function.


For groups of 11 to 20 guests:            $500

For groups of 21 or more guests:       $1000

A blank booking form will be sent via email to be completed by the person who will be booking and paying for the function. The reservation will be booked in once the function coordinator receives the completed booking form.

Final payment

The final account will be settled once the event has ended on that same day and the deposit will be deducted from the final account.

Gratuity: An 8% service charge will be added to your final account on the day of the event.

Final Numbers

Final Numbers must be confirmed 48 hours prior to the date of the event. Charges apply for the full amount of the set menu based on final confirmed numbers.

Cancellation policies

Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made in writing and is subject to the following conditions:

Outside 40 days – Full refund of the deposit.
Between 40 and 30 days – 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
Bookings cancelled inside 30 days will not be refunded.
